FAQs
- What do monkeys eat? Monkeys love fruits like bananas, but they also eat leaves and insects. In captivity they eat formulated diets like monkey-chow.
- Do I need to make a deposit? A $135 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date and time for your party.
- Is tipping the Safari Guide required/recommended? Tipping is NEVER required, or else it is not really tipping, is it? However we only pay our Safari Guides peanuts and the occasional banana. If they have done a great job and you feel they have earned a gratuity, they would appreciate it very much.
- How early can I show up for my party? Well, we guess you could pitch a tent outside the door like it's Best Buy on Black Friday. But since we have to clean up and disinfect EVERYTHING between each party, the front doors unlock 20 minutes before your party starts. But don't worry; that's plenty of time and we'll help you set up!
- Can I decorate the Party Room in my special theme? ABSOLUTELY you can! We'll even help set up. Our Party Room already has permanent festive decorations that compliment any theme, but you can add to it! We ask that you let us help you with hanging things from the walls (we've done this a time or two.) We ask that you don't hang things from our ceiling or move any of our funiture, furnishings, or decorations.
- Are socks required? Yes; yes they are. All shoes are prohibited in the Jungle room and socks must be worn by everyone.
- What forms of payment do you take? We accept cash and major credit cards/debit cards. As of August 5, 2013 we no longer accept bananas as payment. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Can I bring my own food for the party? Certainly! Bring cake, bring lunch, bring snacks. Bring all the bananas you can carry! We even have limited freezer space to help keep things cool until you're ready for them.
- Wait! Don't I have to spend a designated amount of time in each room??? Nope. It's YOUR party. In fact, you can even forego the cake and spend the entire party time in a conga line going back and forth between the Party Room and Jungle if that is your preference.
- Are you serious? Totally! But even though we love conga lines, we couldn't forego cake for that long.
- If my monkey takes his new samurai sword into the moonwalk and accidently cuts a section open, am I responsible for repair or replacement of the moonwalk? Yes you are. And can we look at the new samurai sword? We bet it's really cool!! Normal wear and tear is expected but intentional damage or damage caused by negligence or not following the rules can result in a huge fee to repair or replace the unit, and none of us want that to happen! (For the record, samurai swords are prohibited in the inflatables, even the super-cool new ones.)
- Why did the monkey cross the road? We're not entirely sure, but we think she was chasing bubbles.
